What is Tamiflu?
Tamiflu is a prescription anti-viral agent used to treat the flu (both influenza A and influenza B) in patients who have had symptoms for no more than two days, or to prevent the flu for those that have been exposed to a flu sufferer.
Patients who take Tamiflu typically feel better about 36 hours sooner, on average, than those who do not take the medication. Those with the flu should take doses twice daily.
Those who take Tamiflu as a preventative medication should realize that it is not meant to be a substitute for a flu shot, but it can sometimes be effective if a shot is not available and you feel you've been exposed to the virus.
Additionally, patients taking Tamiflu may be less likely to spread the infection.
Where can I get Tamiflu at a discount?
We recommend that you discuss use of Tamiflu with your physician, and if it is determined that it is safe for you to use, you should only then begin shopping for a place to purchase Tamiflu.
